This is the perfect opportunity to develop your current accounts and audit knowledge and develop within a firm offering great training and development, working with a mixed bag of clients, from start-ups to OMBs to SMEs with turnovers in excess of £25 million. This accounts and audit role has arisen due to internal growth within the firm.

Your new job
Your duties in this role will cover both audit and accounts work, within a team of accounts and audit professionals to help you in your role and for you to learn from. Your day-to-day roles will include producing statutory and management accounts, completing corporation tax returns, VAT returns, completing audit work and producing partnership and sole trader accounts. Developing and maintaining client relationships is also required. This will involve representing the firm at networking events as well as assisting in the development of existing and new client relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this job, you will need previous practice experience. Having done accounts and audit work, particularly in accounts production and management accounts. This can be split work. You will need to be part qualified in your ACCA or ACA qualification, preferably a finalist or QBE. Experience in accounting software is required, Xero and IRIS are essential. Any other software’s will be considered. Other personal attributes will be required, this consists of being confident and having good interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships. Good communication skills and being naturally inquisitive is also required.
