Your new company

You will work for an established accountancy firm based in Derry City. Due to continued expansion, this practice requires an Accounting Technician to join their team of dedicated accounting professionals.


Your new role

As an Accounting Technician, you will work in an experienced and established team. Your duties will include: bank reconciliations, summarising and analysing financial information, self-assessment returns, VAT returns, maintenance of client bookkeeping records and payroll duties supporting the Payroll Manager.


What you'll need to succeed

You will have at least 1 years’ experience working as an Accounting Technician
Part-qualified or fully qualified Accounting Technician or qualified by experience
Payroll experience would be desirable but not essential
Good IT skills, including experience with Sage and Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative and in a team environment
