I am working with a leading international language services business looking to hire an Accounting Manager to join the London team and work on the French entities of the business.

Your new role

This is a broad and varied role with key responsibilities including:

• Oversee monthly closing activities and reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely accounting.
• Prepare and finalise statutory financial statements and group reporting packages under local GAAP and US GAAP, working closely with auditors and tax advisers.
• Manage VAT and corporate tax compliance and controls.
• Coordinate with the shared service centre on accounting and administrative matters.
• Maintain, update, and improve administrative and financial processes in line with internal audit requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be fluent in French with hands-on accounting experience. You will need to be able to own month-end, improve processes and create journals and postings from scratch.
