Our client is recruiting for an Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am - 2.30pm. The role is office based in South Lanarkshire and, due to the location of the role, applicants should have access to their own transport.

Your new role

•Reconciliations
•Processing invoices and payments
•VAT Returns
•Reporting internally and externally
•Posting journals
• Accruals and Prepayments
•Fixed Asset Register Maintenance
•Supporting with budgeting and forecasting tasks

What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a similarly varied Management Accountant/Assistant Accountant role is essential. Training can be offered in areas in which you are less experienced. You will have excellent attention to detail, prioritisation skills and will be able to effectively manage a varied workload.
