• Drive the acquisition process: Own the plan for acquisitions, from pre-acquisition data gathering to post-completion requirements.
• Lead finance integration: Seamlessly merge finance functions of new entities, manage hive-ups, and simplify group structures.
• Ensure accuracy: Review completion accounts and supporting documentation with precision.
• Month-end mastery: Take charge of accounting for newly acquired entities and designated finance areas.
• Tax and compliance: Provide key data for corporation tax reporting and produce regulated reporting returns.
• Audit involvement: Be fully engaged in external audits, liaising with auditors and resolving queries.
• Due diligence: Assist with financial and tax due diligence for potential acquisitions.

• ACA qualified (from a reputable firm)
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK reporting requirements
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Analytical mindset with top-notch report writing skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query experience is a bonus!)
