Hays Education is currently recruiting for a committed and qualified Vocational Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking school or college in Durham on a supply basis from January 2026 until July 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a passion for delivering vocational science content to post-16 learners, helping students develop practical skills and knowledge for future careers in science-related industries.

Requirements:
  • QTS or QTLS – Essential
  • Experience teaching Vocational Science (e.g. BTEC, Applied Science)
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver practical and theoretical content
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
