Regional Surveyor, 3-month temporary role, starting ASAP, rate up to £280 per day

Your new company

We're pleased to be working with a housing association with an office in Cambridgeshire who are looking for a temporary maintenance surveyor to support the team for 3–6 months. Joining a small team and supporting the Contracts Manager and permanent Surveyor, you'll be travelling across the region to inspect social housing properties.

Your new role

As a Regional Surveyor, you'll be carrying out inspections, defect diagnosis and stock condition surveys on social housing properties and report on their condition. You'll likely spend several days out inspecting properties and then a day from home completing the reports. Most of the properties will be in and around the Huntingdon area, but there may be a requirement to travel further afield on occasion. You will also be dealing with some responsive repair issues, diagnosing any issues and then managing the remedial works with their partnering contractor.

What you'll need to succeed

As a Regional Surveyor, you'll have experience of surveying social housing properties, completing both stock condition surveys and managing responsive/planned maintenance issues. You'll need to have a driving licence and access to a car as you'll need to travel to properties across the region.

What you'll get in return

This is an initial 3–6 month contract which may be extended. You'll receive an hourly rate of up to £280 per day gross/Umbrella. You'll have the opportunity to work from the office should you wish and from home when completing your reports.
