Your new role
As the IT Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining a secure, efficient and forward-thinking IT environment for the entire organisation. Working closely with an established Managed Service Provider, you will be responsible for overseeing all IT infrastructure, ensuring cyber security standards are upheld, and managing company wide software procurement and optimisation.
This is a varied and strategic role involving stakeholder engagement, service management, technical recommendations and long term planning. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to support the development of new IT capabilities aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The role will involve regular travel between UK sites and occasional international travel.
What you’ll need to succeed
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and cyber security best practice
• Experience managing IT resources and working with external MSPs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Strong project management capability and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• A collaborative, proactive approach and confidence working across diverse teams
• Full UK driving licence
• (Desirable) Previous experience in a leadership role and experience managing MSP relationships
