Permanent Semi-Skilled Labourer/Groundworker required for Bangor Co. Down.

Your new company

A large environmental company is looking for a Semi-Skilled Labourer/Groundworker on a permanent basis to work out of their yard in Bangor Co. Down.

Your new role

What You’ll Do:
  • Carry out site work following safety protocols which will include hand digging, using hand and power tools, general labouring duties, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.
  • Assist the Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks.
  • Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes.
  • Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.

What you'll need to succeed

What they are looking for:
  • Experience in a multi-skilled construction role, including hand digging, groundwork, laying drainage, concreting, etc.
  • Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (preferred but not essential).
  • CSR or CSCS certification (essential).
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening.
