Senior HR Advisor
Job Title: Senior HR Advisor
Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office
Interim: Until December 2026
Rate: £21–£25 per hour
We have partnered with one of our clients within Central Government to recruit a Senior HR Advisor to join their team on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an HR function, providing high-level support across a range of generalist activities, with a particular focus on complex employee relations cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence matters.
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Deliver a broad range of HR generalist tasks, including recruitment support, policy implementation, and employee lifecycle activities.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support business objectives.
- Build effective working relationships across the organisation to promote best HR practices.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a Senior HR Advisor or similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and experience handling complex ER cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid working environment.
- Experience working with unionised workforces or within central government is highly desirable
