Your new role
As a supply teacher, you'll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your role may include:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe, positive learning environment
- Adapting quickly to different school settings and routines
- Providing feedback to school staff on pupil progress and classroom activity
- Supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the school day
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in children's lives
- Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
- The ability to adapt quickly to new environments and routines
- A positive, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of the primary curriculum
- 2 recent school references
