Your new role

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, focused learning environment.
  • Supporting students with their learning and encouraging engagement with lesson content.
  • Liaising with teaching staff to ensure smooth handovers and effective lesson delivery.
  • Acting as a role model and promoting the school’s values and expectations.
