Supply Teaching Assistants & Early Years Practitioners, Day-to-Day & Short-Term Cover
Your new company
Hays Education is working in partnership with a wide range of schools and early years settings across the Black Country. We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Early Years Practitioners (EYPs) for flexible day-to-day and short-term roles starting in September 2025.
Your new role
You will play a vital role in supporting pupils across a range of age groups and abilities. This includes:
- 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- SEN support within mainstream and specialist settings
- Assisting with classroom activities and small group interventions
- Supporting early development in nursery and EYFS environments
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with children in a school or nursery setting
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning or Early Years)
- Experience supporting children with SEN or in a 1:1 capacity is highly desirable.
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
