Your new school
Hays Education are supporting a large secondary school in the Wiral with a male PE teacher job. The post is starting September 2025, on a temporary basis.

Your new role
- Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Develop and implement a diverse curriculum that caters to all abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation.
- Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must be a qualified PE teacher with a passion for physical education. You should have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 PE and be able to engage and motivate students effectively. You will:
• Be enthusiastic and versatile.• Have a creative and inclusive approach to teaching practical and theoretical PE lessons that inspires all students to embrace sport and motivates them to want to live an active and healthy lifestyle.
• Have teaching experience and strong knowledge of the UK PE curriculum.
• Be resilient and effectively manage behaviour.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
