Your new role
As a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for independently undertaking structural appraisals across a wide range of industrial, heritage, retail, workplace, high-rise and commercial buildings, to name a few examples. Once settled in, you will be given the opportunity to start growing and leading your own team of graduates and engineers, on the pathway to Associate engineer as part of the team's organic growth strategy.

What you'll need to succeed
  • You should have at least 6 years of UK structural engineering experience, with technical involvement across a wide range of buildings and sectors.
  • It is highly desirable that you have sound knowledge of structural principles, in order to diagnose defects, report accordingly, and design or consult on the repair process.
  • You should have competence with relevant modelling software e.g. AutoCAD, TEDDS, Tekla, Revit etc
  • You should be able to prepare and present detailed reports.
  • You should be passionate about building appraisal in order to mentor and motivate graduates.

What you'll get in return
  • In return, you will receive a competitive annual salary, in the regio of £45,000 - £60,000, though both more and less is available depending on experience.
  • You will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, with a strong recent track record.
  • Enrolment into company pension (4% personal, 6% employer contribution) and death in service scheme.
  • Hybrid and agile working available.
  • Regular social events internally and with clients.
