2nd Line Engineer - Deskside and Technology Support Analyst

Your new company

Working for an engineering company based in Bristol, you will be working on-site 5 days a week.

Your new role

The Deskside and Technology Support Analyst will handle 2nd Line incident and service requests within their region, demonstrating strong technical skills and excellent customer service by managing and prioritising incidents per SLAs, troubleshooting desktop and telephony issues, deploying IT hardware, maintaining equipment rooms, supporting new office setups, acting as an escalation point, and providing updates on current issues.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have experience in IT Service Management principles and processes, a high level of proficiency in a corporate IT environment, and a track record of working to and exceeding Service Level Agreements. They should possess a broad technical understanding of IS services, the ability to learn and apply new technologies, and strong business focus and customer service skills. Previous experience in a 2nd line engineer role, handling telephony issues, and deploying IT hardware is essential.

What you'll get in return

  • Up to £180/day (Inside IR35)
  • Contract until end of February 2025 - potential for extension
