Talented corporate lawyer role in Leeds for solicitors with a minimum of 2PQE corporate experience.

An opportunity has arisen for a talented Corporate Solicitor (2PQE+) to join a popular regional practice in Leeds with a truly national client base. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious lawyer who enjoys a broad range of corporate transactional work and wants to take on early responsibility within a supportive and forward-thinking practice.

About the Role

You will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, from entrepreneurial start‑ups and early‑stage ventures to established regional and national businesses. The role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to build deep, long-term client relationships.

Your work will span the full spectrum of corporate matters, including:
  • Business sales and acquisitions across all sectors
  • Strategic planning and structuring for growing and scaling companies
  • IPOs, secondary fundraisings and share issues
  • Private equity, venture capital and other investment transactions
  • Shareholder arrangements, joint ventures and collaborations
  • Partnerships and LLP structuring
  • Corporate tax aspects of transactions and reorganisations
  • Advisory and transactional work for early-stage and high‑growth companies, giving you meaningful exposure to businesses at exciting points in their lifecycle.

About You

This role would be perfect for a solicitor with:
  • At least 2 years’ PQE in a reputable corporate team
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to manage your own matters under supervision
  • A commercial mindset and genuine interest in helping businesses grow
  • Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and confidence in building client relationships
