1:1 Teaching Assistant – Full time - Gloucester
Are you a compassionate and committed teaching professional looking to make a meaningful impact? We’re supporting a local primary School in Gloucester who require a full-time SEN teaching assistant to support a child in KS1 on an individual basis. This role would start at Easter and finish at the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to build relationships and make a difference at a local primary school, and to potentially secure long-term supply/permanent contracts in the future. Start date is Easter 2026.
The Role
This is a term-time only, temporary role. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of learning and supporting
staff, delivering lessons and utilising good behaviour management.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who:
- Experience working with children within the last 5 years.
- Have experience supporting children with SEN needs (desirable).
- Are patient, resilient, and able to build strong relationships.
- Are committed to delivering the best quality learning.
Location & Start Date
- Based in Gloucester or surrounding areas.
ASAP 2026 start.
