Yr 4 1:1 SEN TA needed Immediately - Harbourne, full time 5 days
Are you a compassionate, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? I am currently working with a warm, welcoming and high‑achieving Primary school in the Harborne area who are seeking a 1:1 SEN TA to work with a child in Year 4 with Autism.

Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored support to help the child access learning
- Implementing strategies recommended by the SENCO and external professionals
- Supporting regulation, communication and social interaction
- Adapting activities to suit individual needs
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team
- Contributing to EHCP targets and progress reviews
What you'll need to succeed
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting children with Autism or other additional needs
- A calm, nurturing and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
- Good understanding of safeguarding and SEND best practice
