Hays Education is supporting a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Penwortham area, and we are seeking a skilled and committed 1:1 Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.

Your new role

• Supporting the pupil with emotional regulation and behaviour management
• Implementing personalised strategies and intervention plans
• Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo
• Promoting positive learning behaviours and social interaction
• Encouraging confidence, independence and resilience

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience supporting children with behavioural needs, SEMH or additional needs
• A calm, patient and empathetic approach
• Strong behaviour management skills
• The ability to build a trusting relationship with the pupil
• A genuine commitment to helping children overcome barriers
• A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one through Hays)
