Full‑Time | Easter to Summer Term | Warm, Supportive Setting

A nurturing and friendly nursery in Wellington is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time basis from Easter through to the end of the Summer term . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting young children’s development.

The Role

  • Full‑time Nursery Teaching Assistant position
  • Supporting children aged 3–4 with learning, play and daily routines
  • Assisting with child‑centred activities that promote early development
  • Providing 1:1 and small‑group support where needed
  • Helping maintain a safe, engaging and nurturing environment
  • Working closely with experienced Early Years practitioners

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in Early Years or holds an EYFS‑related qualification (desirable)
  • Is warm, caring, patient and enthusiastic
  • Can follow routines while also using initiative
  • Builds strong, positive relationships with children and staff
  • Is committed to supporting young learners as they grow and develop
