About the role:
As a DataStage Developer with experience in the banking/financial services domain, you will collaborate with our client’s data and technology teams. You will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting ETL data pipelines using IBM DataStage, ensuring high‑quality and reliable data delivery in a regulated environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs and sequences using IBM DataStage
- Build end‑to‑end data pipelines from source systems to data warehouse/downstream platforms
- Perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data quality
- Optimise DataStage jobs for performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot ETL failures and support production issues
- Work closely with DBAs, Unix teams, schedulers, and application teams
- Create and maintain technical documentation and mapping specifications
- Follow banking controls, SDLC, and change management processes
Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:
- Strong hands‑on experience with IBM DataStage (11.x preferred)
- Solid understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts
- Good SQL / PL‑SQL skills
- Experience with UNIX / shell scripting
- Hands‑on experience with DataStage Parallel Jobs, Lookups, Transformers, and database connectors (Oracle / DB2 / Teradata)
- Banking or financial services experience (nice to have)
- Exposure to batch scheduling tools (TWS / IWS)
- Experience supporting live production environments
