Our client is a highly-regarded defendant firm with offices across the UK. They are currently recruiting for an 0-3 PQE solicitor to join their defendant EL/PL team in Manchester on a hybrid basis. A competitive salary is available and negotiable dependent on experience.

This Defendant EL/PL Solicitor position will see you:
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified solicitor of 0–3 years PQE. Applicants must have experience handling their own caseload of EL/PL claims. Defendant multi-track personal injury experience is beneficial. Experience of occupational health and/or disease work is beneficial.

This Defendant EL/PL Solicitor position will see you:
- Handle your own caseload of defendant EL/PL valued up to £500,000.
- Handle occasional occupational health and disease files when required, ranging in value.
- Assist senior team members on higher-value, complex cases.
- Conduct liability investigations, gather evidence, review medical evidence and prepare instructions.
- Draft court documents and attend court hearings.
What you'll need to succeed
