Your new role
As an IT Support & Administrator, you will provide first line technical assistance to employees, resolving hardware, software and network issues both remotely and on-site. You’ll help set up new equipment and user accounts, maintain IT systems, document processes, manage helpdesk tickets, and support ongoing IT projects and rollouts.
You will also contribute to stock management for IT equipment and ensure all repairs and support activities are accurately recorded.
What you'll need to succeed
- A strong interest in IT and problem solving
- Good communication, time management, and a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of PC hardware, software and networks
- Ability to interpret information and follow structured processes
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Highly organised with a willingness to learn and challenge existing ways of working
Desirable:
- Level 3 IT apprenticeship or similar qualification
- Practical experience in IT support
- Understanding of troubleshooting techniques and IT security
- Ability to work on your own initiative and see the bigger picture
- Full UK driving licence
What you'll get in return
- £28,500 annual salary
- 24 days holiday, plus 9 days public holiday.
- Contracted hours are 40 per week.
