Vote for your nurse of the year 2019
Congratulations to our three shortlisted nurses. The national vote is now open and will close on Friday 30th August 2019 with the final result announced on the 16th September 2019.
Three nurses will be shortlisted, with one each from the North, Midlands and South. These regional winners will then be put to a national public vote taking place between the 1st and 31st July, with the final result announced on the 16th September 2019.
The national winner will have a £1,000 donation made on their behalf to a local initiative, charity or research project at a hospital of their choice, with the regional winners receiving a £500 donation each.

The winner of the Nurse of the Year Awards 2018 was Jayne Gosling:
Working as a nurse at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital (Sheffield), Jayne manages to treat and care for patients in a very busy day ward delivering chemotherapies. Inspired to become a nurse by her grandmother, Jayne has now been widely recognised for her amazing strength, consideration and inspirational personality.
For her outstanding work she received a £1,000 cheque to donate to The Sick Children’s Trust.
