Your Responsibilities as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil within a primary classroom
- Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development
- Adapting activities to meet individual needs
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider staff
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (school-based experience desirable, especially 1:1)
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN/SEND is advantageous.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
- A genuine commitment to supporting children’s development and wellbeing
