Business Governance PM, 8 month-Day Rate Contract, Belfast (hybrid), £560-£750 p/d
We are currently working with a global financial institution to recruit a Business Governance PM on a-day rate contract. This individual will report directly to the directors and will operate in a global capacity developing relationships and working with stakeholders across multiple business and control functions. This role requires the successful candidate to play an important contribution in the enhancement and/or redefining of existing control frameworks and governance processes.
You will be responsible for supporting risk and control programs working closely with business partners on audit findings whilst examining procedures relative to regulations leveraging data to impact risk and controls environments and offering direction and guidance to other team members.
To be considered for this role you will be required to have the following skills/experience:
- 6-10 years’ experience in a Senior PM role in an enterprise environment
- Experience with risk and control principles including; risk assessments, controls design assessments, controls operating effectiveness and reporting activities
- Execution skills with a focus on clear, realistic action steps and timelines
- Superior attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong relationship-building skills, with an ability to make things happen through the use of positive influence and consensus-building
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and work diligently under pressure
- Experience of working within a large scale and complex organization preferred
- Strong work ethic, personal initiative and high degree of professionalism
- Strong relevant work experience in Risk & Controls preferred
This role will be hybrid with 3 days working from the office in Belfast. Although the role is initially until the end of the calendar year, there is a high possibility of extension.
