Hays Retail is offering designers in Manchester and London the chance to showcase their portfolios to a number of high profile clients. The first event in London’s fashionable Camden involved 6 designers showcasing their portfolios to clients from organisations such as Lispy, Bench and JD Sports. As Kerry King, Retail Manager stated, 'design is a very visual thing and one that is at times hard to sell effectively over the phone or on paper. We have a large number of very talented freelance designers that we are currently working with and key clients that are looking for designers that suit their organisation's style and needs.’'These events represent a great way to bring the two groups together and allow a designer to meet with 8 potential employers over a 2 hour period and vice versa.
