Refer a friend - Healthcare and Social Care

Hays Healthcare and Hays Social Care would like to say a big "thank you" by rewarding you with cash, for each person you refer who starts working through us.

Refer a friend to us before the 28th February 2009 and receive our special “autumn” referral reward.

The amount you receive will depend on the type of role and the number of hours worked by your friend. There is no limit to the amount of people you can refer to us, so the more people you refer the more referral rewards you’ll receive. See below for more details.

Healthcare roles

• AUTUMN SPECIAL! - If you refer a GP, and they work 100 hours (or 3 months for Perm roles), you will be rewarded with £250
• AUTUMN SPECIAL! - If you refer a Specialist Nurse, Hospital Doctor, Theatre Practitioner or Allied Health Professional, and they work 250 hours (3 months for Perm roles), you will be rewarded with £250 
• If you refer a Hospital Doctor or General Nurse, and they work 400 hours (3 months for Perm roles), you will be rewarded with £150

Social Care roles

• AUTUMN SPECIAL! - If you refer a Qualified Social Worker, and they work 250 hours (or 3 months for Perm roles), you will be rewarded with £250  
• AUTUMN SPECIAL! - If you refer a Permanent Care Home Manager, and they work for 3 months, you will be rewarded with £250 
• If you refer a Unqualified Social Worker or Social Care Worker, and they work 400 hours, you will be rewarded with £100

Terms & Conditions

• Referral must be received by Hays before 28th February 2009 to be eligible for the referral bonus 
• Excludes candidates currently registered with Hays and actively seeking work  
• No alternative is available  
• Hays’ decision is final  
• Referrals must be made to Hays before the referred person registers with Hays - referrals made at a later stage will not be valid  
• Referrals can only be made via the online application referral form. Referrals received any other way will not be eligible for the referral reward 
• Referring person must claim their reward within 12 months of the referred person starting work 
• It is the responsibility of the referring person to claim their reward 
• Candidates receiving the Welcome Bonus will be ineligible to be referred to us as part of the “refer a friend” scheme. The Welcome Bonus, which is paid directly to the working candidate, negates any referral rewards to third parties 
• To qualify for a reward, your referred friend must be placed within a 6 month period of the referral being received 
• We can only accept referrals for people eligible to work in the UK  
• Hays reserves the right to offer an alternative reward of the same value at any time 
• For Hospital Doctors to be eligible for the reward, the referred person must work at least 20 hours per week
• Only Hays Healthcare and Hays Social Care are participating in this scheme
