Education distance learning courses

I was doing voluntary work in a school and wanted to fulfil my ambition of working as a Teaching Assistant, so I decided to study for the BTEC Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification.  I studied with ICS because I knew they provided the quickest way of getting the qualification: I was able to gain the qualification in half the time it would have taken had I gone to college!

I really enjoyed working at home at my own pace – it was extremely handy and the course was very easy to follow, and I had a personal tutor on hand all the way through my course.  I also enjoyed ICS’s Student Community and made many friends on the forum who were doing the same course as myself – that helped a lot.

The school at which I was volunteering recently offered me a job as a Teaching Assistant!  What’s more, I’m now considering other courses that will help me further my career.
