Bristol top temporary education worker

8 April, 2011

Hays Education, the leading recruiting expert, has chosen Elysia Madge as Bristol’s Top Temporary Worker. The award, which was presented to Elysia, is in recognition of her work as a Primary Teacher. Elysia says: “This was totally unexpected and I am delighted to have been chosen.”

“Teachers, support staff and children specifically ask for Elysia when they know they need cover for a lesson/day. Despite only being in school maybe once a week she feels like one of the staff. We feel that she is fully deserving of this award,” says Mrs Anne Lamprey, Deputy Head at Perry Court Infants School in Bristol.

Louise Payne, Senior Consultant at Hays Education, comments: “We are pleased to be able to recognise the vital role that temporary staff play in educational institutions. Temporary work offers independence, flexibility, variety and the opportunity to learn something new and meet new people. In the current economic climate, it is allowing employers to be flexible with their staffing and adapt to the challenging environment.”
