Global insight from Hays

A thought-provoking client publication, which offers global insight into the world of HR and recruitment has today been launched by Hays, the leading global specialist recruiting group. The bi-annual publication, called the Hays Journal, focuses on topical issues and trends in the world of work across a range of sectors and countries. It features exclusive global and regional content, including salary guides, research and white papers, as well as interviews and news features.

The first issue looks at shifting talent pools, subsequent skill shortages and the need to anticipate and manage the long-term flux of talent supply in a globalised economy. It also considers employer branding, what global companies are doing to strengthen it, and the role of social media in recruitment. There is also an extensive interview with Alex Wilson, Group HR Director at BT, who looks at how HR can become a true strategic business partner.
