Shortage of specialist teaching staff to meet demand in Nottingham

A large number of Nottingham's schools are struggling to find suitably qualified teachers, according to Hays Education, the leading recruiting expert. Fully qualified teachers with relevant experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) are in high demand across the City.

Gurinder Badesha, Manager at Hays Education in Nottingham, comments: "Despite the current downturn there are skills shortages within the region and those individuals with relevant experience and qualifications that are interested in applying should speak with one of our consultants. Special needs qualified teachers are crucial to the local education system as they work to ensure that the children in their care are well educated as well as safe, happy and stimulated.''
