Hays Ignition is available to school children in Year Three up to Year Thirteen. Over the full course of the programme, which has already been rolled out in over 150 schools nationwide, pupils are taught how their journey through education transcends into the world of work and are encouraged to have confidence in themselves and their skills. The children gain an understanding of the value of work, why it improves quality of life and how to choose a suitable career.
Jenny Ward, National Business Manager at Hays Education, comments: "Hays Ignition brings the world of work into the classroom and complements the message that schools are giving out already. We're not teachers, we're recruiting experts and we know what employers are looking for in their future workforce. The programme helps to drive this message across in a way children and young people find interesting. We have had a dramatic and transformative effect on thousands of pupils so far, and once schools have used us once they want us back again."
