Leeds HR professionals make employment law a priority

Last week, Human resources professionals from Leeds met to discuss employment law changes and share best practice ideas with some of the leading Yorkshire businesses. Hays Human Resources, the leading recruiting expert, in association with Leeds based lawyers, Eversheds LLP, hosted the forum on the 18th March 2010 at the Eversheds Water Lane office. Hot topics such as age discrimination, The Equality Bill and the Agency Workers' Directive were discussed during the event.

Clara Ridley, Senior Consultant at Hays Human Resources, comments: "It is great that we could provide a forum for local HR professionals to discuss topical issues and concerns. Attendees learnt how to comply with different employment laws and found out about future changes and developments."
