Hays will interview prospective candidates to assess suitability and will also complete comprehensive clearance checks, enabling temporary staff to be put in place immediately when requested. The police will benefit from the knowledge that their hires have already been checked by experts and will be ready to start at a moment's notice.
Alistair Rennie, National Sales Director at Hays, comments: "We are working with the Devon and Cornwall Police to provide efficient and effective temporary recruitment procedures. These professionals work within a specialist environment and it helps that we understand the sector, have a comprehensive knowledge of the employer and know how to track down the best people for the roles. Experienced administration and finance clerks, HR administrators and logistics assistants are anticipated to be in particularly high demand and we would encourage people with these skills to apply through their local Hays office."
