Hays and QA will be holding two assessment centres in Birmingham on the 31st of March, looking for potential apprentices. Hays will be looking to attract a wide number of applicants and will utilise social networking sites and online advertising to promote these opportunities.
Ashley Rice, Director at Hays IT, said: "I am very excited to be partnering with QA. Youth unemployment is an increasing problem and we hope people will be interested in these excellent opportunities, within the IT sector. Apprentices will benefit from gaining relevant, hands-on work experience and real qualifications that are recognised in the UK IT industry."
Ben Pike, Director at QA comments: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with Hays to help people into their first role. Hays' experience and commitment to identifying potential candidates will be pivotal to the success of this programme. We expect numerous opportunities to be created across the country and believe that this is an excellent way of investing in raw talent at the same time as addressing skill shortages within the sector."
