Hays gives career advice to Bristol students

Hays Education, the leading recruiting expert, is hosting a careers seminar at The University of West England on the 11th February 2010. The seminar will cover interview best practice, focusing on topics such as the role of an interview, how to prepare for an interview and brush up on your Competency Based Interviewing (CBI) techniques. Rebecca Thomas, Business Manager at Hays Education in Bristol, will chair the event and Secondary Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) that are currently on their PGCE courses at the University will be in attendance.

Rebecca Thomas, Business Manager at Hays Education, comments: "The South West and Bristol NQT jobmarket is very competitive due to an abundance of good quality students graduating from local universities; it is therefore crucial for jobseekers to perform well during an interview. Many of the attendees will have no experience of the sector or being interviewed and the seminar is designed to equip them with the key skills required to improve their chances of securing a job. We hope that many students attend this event and tap into our free advice.
