Shortage of Credit Controllers to meet demand in Oxford

Oxford employers are suffering from a shortage of credit controllers, says Hays Accountancy & Finance, the leading recruiting expert. Professionals with three to four years experience and an Institute of Credit Management qualification (ICM) are highly sought after, particularly for temporary assignments. This demand is due to local employers wanting to ensure that their accounts are on track for the coming year, following increased pressure from senior management.

Tony Lambert, Business Director at Hays Accountancy & Finance, comments: "The latest unemployment figures show that full-time employment fell by 113,000 to 21.2 million, while part-time employment did not rise fast enough to compensate. It is therefore very promising that there is still demand for credit controllers in the region. Individuals with relevant experience and qualifications that are interested in applying should speak with one of our consultants who are able to provide expert career advice."
