Competition is on for the 2010 PA of the Year

The search for the Hays and The Times PA of the Year is now in full swing. Hays PA & Secretarial, the leading recruiting expert, is searching for the ultimate PA or Executive Assistant to win the 2010 Award. The judges will be looking for PAs who are able to show a high level of initiative and a strong understanding of the way in which a business works. If you think you or a colleague has what it takes to win this respected title, enter now. The winner will be announced in May at an awards ceremony in London and the closing date for entry is Friday 26th March 2010.

The judges include Susie Barron-Stubley, Managing Director of Castalia, the coaching and training company, Anuszka Elland, last year's winner and Geoff Sims, Managing Director of Hays PA & Secretarial. The winner will enjoy a dream holiday abroad for two at a five star hotel, as well as the prestige of winning this highly regarded award.

Geoff Sims, Managing Director at Hays PA & Secretarial, comments: "As directors continue to battle with a challenging economy, it is the hard work PAs do behind the scenes that allows them to get on with their jobs. We are looking for a top PA who can demonstrate their dedication to their job with evidence of how their pro-active attitude has had a positive impact on the business. Managers might want to nominate their PA by way of thanks for their hard work during what has been a difficult year. I wish all of the applicants the best of luck."

A personal assistant or executive assistant can enter themselves or be entered by their boss or colleague. Entrants must have worked in the same role for at least three months on either a temporary or permanent basis.
