Recruiter Supports Next Generation - Dudley

Hays Construction, one of the UK’s leading specialist recruitment consultancies, recently attended a graduation ceremony at Dudley College to present a prize to winning students. Steve Guest from Hays Construction presented the prize to Dudley College winners: Andy Timmins, Rebecca Manson, and Adell Wallace.

The students have recently completed their final year of a Higher National in Construction course and won the prize for the ‘Best Group Project’. Hays Construction awarded them all with a cheque and a certificate.

Steve Guest of Hays Construction says: “A lot of people don’t realise that there is a shortage of qualified construction professionals in the UK. This prize is a small step to encourage the next generation of construction professionals to remain in their studies and to reward them for their hard work. Not only is it great to support students to pursue a career in construction, but we would also encourage students to stay in Dudley and explore the employment opportunities that exist in the area”
