Hays Energy, one of the UK’s leading specialist recruitment consultancies, recently attended a prizegiving ceremony at Imperial College, London, to present a prize to a winning student. Rebecca Batty, Senior Consultant at Hays Energy, presented the prize to the Imperial College winner, Bojan Tamburic.
Bojan is completing a MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures course and won the prize for the Best Research Presentation. His project, on harnessing sunlight via green algae is part of Imperial College’s multi-million pound research project on New and Renewable Routes to Solar Hydrogen. Hays Energy awarded Bojan with a cheque and a framed certificate.

This prize is a small step to encourage the next generation of energy workers to remain in their studies and to reward them for their hard work. Not only is it great to support students to pursue a career in energy, but we would also encourage students to stay in London and explore the employment opportunities that exist in the city.”
