Construction Boom Creates Local Jobs for Local People
According to the specialist recruitment consultancy, Hays Construction & Property, Belfast is experiencing an unprecedented period of growth in construction. Private and public investment is at an all time high resulting in projects which are increasing in profile and value. In turn, this has resulted in a surge in demand for experienced construction personnel. Hays Construction & Property is hosting an open day on 29th May at its office on Great Victoria Street in Belfast to find professional staff for these projects.
Highlighting this growth, there are a number of major projects underway in the area, including the £300m Westlink and M1 upgrade scheme and the Titanic Quarter luxury development, Europe’s largest mixed-use waterfront development, worth a staggering £1bn.Hays Construction & Property, which has an office on Great Victoria Street in Belfast, recently held a number of successful open days to find construction professionals to work on these projects and more. The open days helped to raise awareness of the wide variety of jobs currently available, for tradesmen, labourers, site supervision workers, commercial professionals and engineers.
