A local student at the University of Bradford has beaten off strong competition to win a top prize. Neil Armstrong, who lives in the city, has recently completed his final year and won the award for the Highest Overall Average in Stage 3 of the BEng Civil & Structural Engineering course, which is sponsored by the leading specialist recruitment consultancy, Hays Consulting Engineering.
The purpose of the award is to promote, recognise and reward excellence in the field of engineering. Hays Consulting Engineering recently attended a prizegiving ceremony at the University to present a cheque and framed certificate to the proud student.
