Award Winning Local Student

A local student at Oxford Brooks University has beaten off strong competition to win a top prize. Christopher McGovern recently completed his final year of a BSc in Construction Management and won the award for Best Industrial Placement Experience, which is sponsored by the leading specialist recruitment consultancy, Hays Construction.

The purpose of the award is to promote, recognise and reward excellence in the field of construction. Hays Construction recently attended a prize giving ceremony at the University to present a cheque and framed certificate to the proud student.

Studying to attain a formal qualification will certainly enhance Christopher’s career prospects and he should be commended for his outstanding achievement.
