Soaring Demand for Construction Workers at Heathrow

Large scale construction work at Heathrow Airport has seen demand for construction workers continue to soar says local recruitment consultancy Hays Construction & Property. In order to meet an increased demand for industry professionals working locally the UK’s leading specialist recruitment consultancy will be opening a new office at Heathrow on Monday 23 June.

Projects currently underway at the airport include the refurbishment of Terminal 4, maintenance of Terminal 5 and the relocation of 150 airlines across the terminals. The new Heathrow East terminal worth £1.5 billion and the £800 million Midfield Pier designed to help improve passenger processing have also generated a large amount of work. Quantity surveyors, commercial staff, project managers, construction managers, and mechanical & electrical engineers are all particularly in demand.
