Welcome

I am very proud to welcome you to the Forest School. We are a high achieving 11-16 comprehensive school with a current roll of almost 1100 boys.

We believe our school is very special – a happy and safe environment in which our boys can learn, grow and develop into confident and successful young men.

We believe we offer something for every pupil, whatever their ability, whatever their interests. We want each of our pupils to leave the school well qualified and well prepared for the next stage of their education. It is also important to us that they leave as kind, thoughtful, caring and well-rounded young people, who are pleasant and polite and who other people want to know. Most importantly, we want our pupils to look back at their time at Forest with pleasure, affection and pride.

We hope this website is informative – however, it can only give you a snapshot of all that we do. You are very welcome to visit the school during the normal working day and meet our staff and pupils – only then will you know how much we have to offer you.
