As a valued member of staff you would have a very important part to play in making our school a very special place: a place where everyone can be safe, happy and successful.  

Our staff have ample opportunities for professional development and to experience significant success. Our Professional Development Programme, including our dynamic Learning and Teaching Group, enables teachers to develop their pedagogical skills alongside more experienced colleagues. Teachers share best practice via a coaching and mentoring paired lesson observations. This scheme is very effective and most popular with our teachers. In addition there is an Induction Programme to help new members of staff to feel welcome and to integrate as soon as possible into the culture and systems of the school.     

St Cuthbert’s is going through a time of significant change. Our £14 million new build and refurbishment is well underway. In January 2014 our new building will open. You will have access to state of the art learning and teaching technologies.
