Thank you for taking an interest in Sidney Stringer Academy. This is a really exciting time for staff and students as we move firstly into becoming an Academy in September 2010 in the current building and then into our new buildings in the summer of 2011.
The Academy serves a bustling area, close to the city centre with the most diverse population of any in the city. The predecessor school is a well-established city centre school, which has long enjoyed popularity for its commitment to meeting the needs of a very diverse population of all students. Our aim is to raise the expectations and achievements of every student whatever their needs, talents, strengths or weaknesses, by providing high quality inclusive education in every curriculum area.
