Welcome
Prospect school is a community within a community and as such it is a rewarding school to be part of. The pupils are energetic and extremely loyal to their school. I am proud of their achievements and enjoy being able to contribute to their success. As a school we are very focused on moving from the Ofsted category of satisfactory to good. Several areas were judged as good in our last inspection, now we are determined to achieve good overall in the next one. This focus is felt through out the school by pupils, governors and staff. We are all working together to reach our goal.
Every one at Prospect is encouraged to take their own learning seriously, and this includes all staff. Professional development is important to us and everyone is supported in displaying a commitment to their own learning. The word ‘prospect’ means to look forward and this is very much the thinking at the heart of our ethos.
If you are successfully appointed to the team at Prospect you will join a hard working, committed team. We work hard, and enjoy the rewards that this brings – the success of the pupils in our care. You will learn a great deal from your time at Prospect and develop your skills to become a leader of schools in the future.
